Caecilians: Classic or Dud?

It's a type of legless amphibian, and it looks like a big worm with teeth. The ones in Florida are a really cool shade of plasticy purple. (I saw one in the wild years ago while helping to clear land.) Looking around the net on a whim, I came upon this FAQ. I say classic.

Reptiles and amphibians in general are classic. I have never seen a caecilian even thouigh I have spent plenty of time outdoors in Florida. I like the metallic blue/purple skinks they have here.

They're not only rare, they only live buried in the soil. Very few people have seen them in the wild.

I think skinks are cute, too. I love seeing Northerners come down and freak out over the fact that we all have little lizards crawling around our houses.

Crawling around IN our houses, I should say.
