Someone called Anoushka from UKBB is coming into the Australian Big Brother House as an intruder this Thursday

What's she like? She said she's going to try and make someone cry while she's in there. I hope she's real trouble; our lot need a rark-up.

she was the first one to be voted out here, after just a week in the house tho she had been nominated on the very first night which was a bit unfair to an extent.

made no real impact other than front-page tabloid exposure for hinting that she wanted to have sex with one of the guys (Federico i think?)

seems a bit odd they chose her considering she went out so quick. they should send Jon over there instead to bewilder you with science.

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 29 June 2003 10:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Bloody hell. She's screechy and noisy and apparently has an IQ of 90. So there you go.

j0e (j0e), Sunday, 29 June 2003 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I liked Anoushka, and I thought it a shame she was voted out of the UK house so quickly. I think things would have been much livelier if she had stayed. She's pretty, flirty, but with a sweet and bubbly personality.

C J (C J), Sunday, 29 June 2003 11:09 (twenty-two years ago)

and who could forget those 'freight calf' eyes

stevem (blueski), Sunday, 29 June 2003 11:12 (twenty-two years ago)

She has great breasts and doesn't wear a bra.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 29 June 2003 11:17 (twenty-two years ago)

haha!

jel -- (jel), Sunday, 29 June 2003 11:31 (twenty-two years ago)

It sounds as if she'll go over well. Australia has a weakness for screechy, cheerful, big-breasted, non-bra-wearing flirts with 'freight calf' eyes and low IQs.

estela (estela), Sunday, 29 June 2003 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

It sounds like you're joking, but it's true.

Andrew (enneff), Sunday, 29 June 2003 13:15 (twenty-two years ago)

"Poms are stupid idiots!!! She is gonna reck it."

Haha, I just found this quote on the Australian BB website.

Pomagne.

Pete (Pete), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 08:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Yawn.

"Pom" was based on the word "pomegranate" -- either because the redness of the fruit supposedly matched the typically florid British complexion, or because (like "Johnny Grant") it was used as rhyming slang for "immigrant."

Haha aussies are rubbish at rhyming!

Alternatively, it comes from Prisoner Of His Majesty.

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 08:33 (twenty-two years ago)

we may be rubbish at rhyming but we can play tennis!

Told you

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 11:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Some BB fans are quite indignant about Anoushka coming into the house. They're posting stuff like: 'Why can't they use an Australian sluttish bimbo as an intruder, there's plenty of perfectly good Aussie sluts available so why do we have to get a *foreign* one brought in, what's wrong with ours?'

estela (estela), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 11:40 (twenty-two years ago)

(Actually I had no idea, and this is tomorrow/today, isn't it?)

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 13:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I think the UKBB bosses were highly pissed off when Anoushka ended up going first... I think they had her in there as the livewire.

Anyone else think Lisa might be a Channel 4 plant there to manipulate the audience? She seems far too vocal about the 'expendable' housemates...

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 14:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Australian livewire housemates (well Lia, anyway) were evicted pretty quick, too. GOOD. Anne Marie was not pleasant, though now I think about it it makes no difference at all (and they ALL get handsome prizes when they leave, now!). It's more fun to watch the quiet ones, for me (I'm not much of a fan, I guess, I don't watch the chat show or the adult one). Anyway I'll prob watch tomorrow.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 14:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I had a point when I began that, honestly

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 14:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Lisa scares me with her ill-judged lipstick.

Archel (Archel), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

i miss anoushka. she knew all the best songs. that one about the glo-worm for instance.

dermot said that tomorrow's bblb will have footage of anoushka arriving in australia so it must be in next 24 hours sometime, probably less.
