Hello, I just got back online/to work, and I am drowning in all these unread threads so I need one to break me back in gently :)

Say things to me. (I am having a miserable few days/crisis of confidence so they should be nice things if possible.)

Hi Archel! I'm listening to a record, it's very good indeed. It's called 'Conch 3' and it's by the Builders, a great NZ band that doesn't get discussed much by anyone. Hope things improve.

Good to see you back. Sometimes I might wonder why ILX has all gotten a bit pedestrian lately, and suddenly particular individuals come back and I realise one of the reasons is that this or that person hasn't been around to liven it up. You fall into that category.

What's all this about reaching new heights and becoming employable? Can I come too? I can't give any cheering up advice because I am pissed off too. That in itself might cheer you up though. One can but hope.

I think Mark refers to my impending masters degree, and possibly to my (less impending) marriage.

I can't help thinking that I will like my job even less once I'm a part-time student as well, and I have to stay here to get my funding...
