Ah...memories of Hartsfield Airport's trains...

Please move to the center of the vehicle/
And away from the doors."

I have assaulted unwitting people on AIM.

I have drunk hot chocolate.

I have looked in vain for anything that could classified anywhere near vegetarian.

I think, mayhaps, I shall beat this.

continue to drink water nonstop

Millar (Millar), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 00:14 (twenty-two years ago)

John is right. Pacing is good for staying awake. But for me, it's good for everything, as I'm a great big pacer. I love to pace.

s1utsky (slutsky), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 00:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh great, kill mike with hyponatremia!

Millar is OTM. In the Canadian Army ROT, the advice they give to cadets about to do the 72 hours on duty is for them to skip coffee and drink as much water as possible. It works.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 03:25 (twenty-two years ago)

The best terminal for pacing is the really long new Northwest terminal at Detroit- you can go quite far before having to turn around. Um...when I was stuck there for 24 hours a few years ago (pre new terminal) I went & bought about 20 magazines to read, walked a lot, sampled almost all of the restaurants, and talked a ton on my cellphone to every friend I could get ahold of.

lyra (lyra), Tuesday, 1 July 2003 03:41 (twenty-two years ago)
