Apparently Heinz are planning to ditch their old "Beanz Meanz Heinz" slogan they've had for years, and are looking for a new, exciting, contemporary slogan to market their tins of beans.

I've got a great one but I'm sending it to them instead of wasting it on you cynical scumbagz. Keep an eye open for it, the streets of Britain are going to be a happier place. I think they stressed the fact that they weren't going to ditch the old slogan.

The advert makes the whole thing so clear that it's a publicity stunt, it's hilarious.

"Heinz are planning to drop the Beanz Meanz Heinz slogan for something more modern. If you want to keep the old one phone this number".

At least they had the decency to wait a week or two before going back on the Salad Cream ditching 'plan'.

The Beanz Meanz Heinz slogan was offically ditched, IIRC, sometime in the mid nineties.
