Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:21 (twenty-two years ago)

geeta in jack lalane shocker

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:27 (twenty-two years ago)

She probably doesn't need much cereal, what with all the eggs she's going to make for breakfast instead.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:32 (twenty-two years ago)

How big are these cartons?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:33 (twenty-two years ago)

cereal gets stale

gabbneb (gabbneb), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, I never buy more than one box of cereal.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:35 (twenty-two years ago)

when will the inevitable "bootyflakes" comment be made re this?

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Sometimes I might buy two, like say I want Count Chocula, I might buy Special K as well to trick the cashier into thinking I have a child and that I'm not sitting at home watching Cowboy Bebop and snarfing Count Chocula.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Eggs! I'm telling

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:38 (twenty-two years ago)

i hope i never feel guilty for eating count chocula

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I have felt guilty over my grocery items ever since a cashier like lambasted me for buying 3 cartons of ice cream. Like it's her business if I couldn't decide between Coney Island Waffle Cone, Dulce de Leche and Phish Food, wtf?

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:41 (twenty-two years ago)

There's an ice cream named after Phish?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:42 (twenty-two years ago)

i've been eating lots of smarties lately

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Sundar, it's the only remotely good thing Phish has ever been involved in!

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:43 (twenty-two years ago)

i felt kinda guilty buying the buy-one-get-one-free tositos the other day...it was like, "you fat bastard, you have fallen squarely in our trap"

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Ironically, Phish is playing right now. It's remotely good.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Ironically, sundar has lost his mind!!!

jess, that's why I get all guilted out and buy the healthy food at the same time. "Oh, it's for my nonexistant kid, they really enjoy eating scores and scores of Rocket Pops!"

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:50 (twenty-two years ago)

The problem kind of is I buy the most immature junk food possible. I mean, Pikachu in ice cream format? Sign me up!

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:51 (twenty-two years ago)

i've also been eating lots of Utz potato chips lately -- cheap and not greasy

ha! I stuff the pizza bitesies or whatever under the soy milk in my cart so that interesting singles will notice the wholesome stuff.

s1utsky (slutsky), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:56 (twenty-two years ago)

i think she meant the little utz girl

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm not so keen on that one, esoj.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:56 (twenty-two years ago)

oh ok. who else would you like in ice cream form?

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I was having dinner with this girl a few years ago. We were talking about bands we'd like to see live. She listed all these indie and hardcore bands, most of which I'd never heard. I said "I think I'd really like to see Phish". I've only ever heard this one Phish song, which I never listen to or anything. She looked at me like I was from another planet, unable to tell if I was being even slightly serious. I still have no idea why I said that. A friend thought I was expressing some perverse subconscious urge to push her away. The look on her face, however, was more than remotely good.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:58 (twenty-two years ago)

when will there be afroken foodstuffs?

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Powerpuff Girls.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:59 (twenty-two years ago)

i would have so totally fallen for the utz girl, had she existed when i was 13

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:59 (twenty-two years ago)

she's the little debbie of the 2000s

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 03:59 (twenty-two years ago)

and the utz girl picture prob. also belongs in the "HOW OLD ARE YOU?" thread

Tad (llamasfur), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 04:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I want a 3D tableau of the cast and set of Marat/Sade rendered in gelato form.

geeta, Wednesday, 16 July 2003 04:49 (twenty-two years ago)

did you buy slingshots too or are you gonna go freehand? (I vote freehand, less messy, more precise, though you do lose some firepower)

M Matos (M Matos), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 04:57 (twenty-two years ago)

dude you couldn't even FIND the eggs. it was like you just kept wandering over into the yuppie food section like it had some magnetic pull on you.

anyway you best stay out of dorchester. its a baaaad neighborhood, y'hear? if yr. dragged to death don't say i didn't warn you.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 04:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Ally: there was a cart selling all those icecreams at 11th and A last week while I was being locked out. I nearly bought all of them to cheer me up/bolster my fuel reserves.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 08:36 (twenty-two years ago)

geeta aim or email me!! we need to plot geetafest soup to nuts!!

mark s (mark s), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 09:34 (twenty-two years ago)

DON'T LET HIM GIVE YOU THE SOUP!

Tim (Tim), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 09:40 (twenty-two years ago)

soup w/nuts: yummy.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 09:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I bought a carton of cereal and a dozen eggs once back when I was first getting used to having a kitchen and my own apartment and etc.

I realized a couple of weeks later "Who the fuck am I kidding? I haven't eaten a proper breakfast in practically five years, not like I'm going to start now," so if anybody would like a really old box of some healthy-looking bullshit just drop by anytime and I'll let you have it. The eggs I cooked for dinner.

Millar (Millar), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:13 (twenty-two years ago)

wow, they're still making Count Chocula?

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Fuck, I thought that powerpuff girl was some emaciated koala.

Mark C (Mark C), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 10:42 (twenty-two years ago)

The ice cream man was not here this morning so I had to go to work instead of eat childish treats and run around the street screaming "POWERPUFF GIRLS! POWERPUFF GIRLS!" :(

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha one time in Rockapulco, the ice cream man came down the street and me and my friend J. busted out in a full sprint down the street screaming "ICE CREAM MAN! ICE CREAM MAN! STOP!" and he didn't cos we were so far away but we caught up to him, but in the process of him trying to stop vehicle, he killed a squirrel. Also I was 22 and she was 34 and we were in bathing suits which freaked him out. The kids, how they laughed, but I got the last laugh by buying the last three Rocket Pops, fuckers.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 12:35 (twenty-two years ago)

In retrospect I would like to apologize for this thread.

A gentleman never shops and tells.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 16:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 17:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 18:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 19:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Drop me an email, then. (Actually, anyone in MA who wants a hookup should email me, but supplies are limited.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 19:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Tanglewood brings back fond memories of my MA youth.
