It could be a case of mistaken identity between Geir and Mr Seán Ó Muireagáin.

Whatever happened to him anyway? Before he went to Palestine obviously. He was the best thing about ILM.

Bite yer tongue. Though maybe the endless reaction to him was worse than him in the end.

ain't no maybe about it

James Blount (James Blount), Wednesday, 16 July 2003 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Given that you knew exactly how he judged all music you could make good use of his recomendations even if you weren't goign to agree with him.

there was something weird about the extreme reaction Geir provoked from the ILM in-crowd. I mean, you can't say it's because his opinions were nonsensical, because most people on ILM talk complete shite without anyone getting annoyed. And at least Geir did it in a friendly and polite fashion.

I dunno... there isn't something about Geir that the ILM in-crowd all know about but can't reveal to the rest of us because of the laws of libel? that might explain their otherwise boorish loathing of him.

(Hooray, I am not in the ILM in-crowd!)
