My old boss used to have some kind of mobile-holding desk furniture then he got a new phone which didn't fit into it and got me into his office to ask me where he was going to keep his phone now. old people sure are strange.

N = hardnosed businessman of rubbish orange ads fame

RickyT (RickyT), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:49 (twenty-two years ago)

I have seen these fake mini plastic stilettos for holding mobiles. They are ridiculous. What is really needed is a rubber band ball holder as the parcel tape roll I'm using is ugly.

Emma, Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Have Orange made any promoitional steel noses? I would like one. They seemed to drop that campaign v.quickly in favour of the young good-looking boy leading the army of Orange trainers. I suppose it's kind of got a similar feel. Was that boy also the hard-nosed businessman's son?

I had a mobile telephone deckchair also but I threw it away because it meant when my phone vibrated I couldn't hear it and our office operates a (blessed) mobiles-on-silent policy. Also the phone chair was a nasty shade of pink and spoiled my careful colour co-ordination.

The new person in the office has an actual little easy chair for her mobile phone to sit in which appears t have been some sort of Coca Cola free gift.

Mark did you see the programme on furries and plushies the other night?

Tim (Tim), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Tim I saw some of it. It was very coy. Possibly this is a blessing.

mark s (mark s), Thursday, 17 July 2003 09:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes the coyness was a relief. The man who had the most to say was odious. I thought the mother of that furry fellow was endearing.

Tim (Tim), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Coyness U+K when it comes to furry activities. That picture of a man wearing a fox suit with his penis hanging out was highly traumatising.

RickyT (RickyT), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I have a blue deckchair on my desk at the moment. It hadn't occurred to me it was for mobile-holding. My plastic Teddy Sheringham has been sitting in it for the past week.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Thursday, 17 July 2003 10:06 (twenty-two years ago)

when my mobile is on silent and it vibrates on the table it makes a sound that can be made out as if I've just let off a very big fart. Most unbecoming so maybe I should invest in one of these deck chairs. But then again when I do have to break wind now I can blaim it on the phone.

k chu, Thursday, 17 July 2003 11:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Ken, I have a deckchair for you if you'd like one. It is, however, blue as I am a BOY.
