They are staggering. Finally read Bad Boy Brawley Brown and it broke my heart.

I've only read Devil in a Blue Dress but I liked it a lot. Movie wasn't bad either.

i read devil in a blue dress recently
i was really enjoying it,but after it was over i didn't really fully understand what was supposed to have happened
i was expecting it all to tie in together perfectly
maybe it did and i just didn't understand

five years pass...

Just finished Blonde Faith and am horrified that I'll have to wait now till he writes another one, having devoured all the rest. Not as good as some, but enough to keep me going. Anyone read his science fiction? May have to resort to that.

twelve years pass...

On a Mosley kick. devil was just so so I thought , but the follow up a red death has some real legs.

Finished a red death and Mosley seems to have a problem with tying the various strings together at the endS of his stories. I’ll keep reading the series and just temper my expectations ...

I wouldn't describe the plots as the best thing about the Easy Rawlins Mysteries. Mosley's strength in them is his ability to his present his characters as humans and their lives as full and engaged, even when they are not advancing the main storyline.
