And, while breastfeeding DOES suppress ovulation, the trouble is that you ovulate *before* you get a period, so if you're not familiar with fertility signs (which, by the way, can be pretty confusing at this time anyway), you get a surprise bonus baby!

I went to an all girls Catholic HS where "sex ed" was taught as a part of our religion classes. The nuns used a drawing of a girl named "Fertile Myrtle" to teach us about reproduction. Three of the girls I graduated with were pregnant at the time of commencement.

I think having fertility goddesses on the blackboard may be a problem (for god-punishing-graven-images reasons or you-jumped-through-the-fire-haha reasons).
