yes. to decide to refrain from sex, you must have an attitude towards sex. however, in any class there will always be some things which don't get covered. but it might be worth bringing up with your instructor.

No course on Catholic sex without a unit dealing with S&M. All Catholics are kinky.

Depends who the course is being aimed at and who is teaching.

The sex ed class at my catholic high school taught us that the best form of contraception, besides the rhythm method, was breast feeding.

...or a paracetamol clasped firmly between the knees.

xpost That is true in the sense that breastfeeding will take up all the time you might have devoted to sex.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 18 September 2007 22:15 (eighteen years ago)

And, while breastfeeding DOES suppress ovulation, the trouble is that you ovulate *before* you get a period, so if you're not familiar with fertility signs (which, by the way, can be pretty confusing at this time anyway), you get a surprise bonus baby!

I went to an all girls Catholic HS where "sex ed" was taught as a part of our religion classes. The nuns used a drawing of a girl named "Fertile Myrtle" to teach us about reproduction. Three of the girls I graduated with were pregnant at the time of commencement.

I think having fertility goddesses on the blackboard may be a problem (for god-punishing-graven-images reasons or you-jumped-through-the-fire-haha reasons).
