c'mon ILX film geeks - s1utsky, amateurist, gabbneb, pete?

apparently an alien and a predator make cameo appearences.

Well, why don't you start by telling us what the hell it is?

I've heard made reference but I don't have the opportunity to download 8 minute films at work. I hope the guy gets his ass sued off for copyright infringement and then, if the film is any good, gets a gig making one of these films he obviously wants to do.

(Let's sugar that bitter pill).

my dial-up connection can't hack it. so from what i've read - budding film maker spends $30,000 on a short film featuring batman/joker/alien/predator. fanboys go nuts over the redesigned bat-suit. an expensive CV from a guy who comes across as a bit of a dickwit.

Suit does look cool:

And the joker looks like the joker. Looks a lot more like the comics for some reason.

for fun times read the AICN talkback. they bitch about the seams on the legs.

Chris Radford (Chris Radford), Thursday, 24 July 2003 13:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Well certainly Nicholson's Joker was a real let down. Not unsurprisingly, but it is a really hard character to make sense of anyway (he is totally whacko, and yet smart enbough to pull crimes that Batman - the WORLDS GREATEST DETECTIVE (in tights) can't solve).

Pete (Pete), Thursday, 24 July 2003 13:45 (twenty-two years ago)

You can download it here. It's a 48mb quicktime file, though.

are you talking about Nicholson's Joker in the '89 Batman movie Pete? he ruled!

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 24 July 2003 16:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Too large for me to see on this (library) computer, unfortunately. The stills on that site look good. However, he's delusional if he thinks that the original studio wouldn't track him down and sue his arse off.

I just downloaded the mpeg one from the page linked above.

it is cool but dumb.

Ding ding ding!

I've always been a real sucker for crossover comics, esp. ones that involve sci-fi movie characters (Someone commented on this movie "why didn't they have a terminator teleport right into the middle of all of it?" which would have been cool). This little movie is good, but it does kind of show it's cards pretty quickly doesn't it? I guess it's kind've necessary in a short-ass movie, but if they did a full length it'd be good if they didn't have aliens or predators appear until over halfway through.
