I'm so confused

ILX is confusing today. Ned's great thread is too smart for me, there's old school trolls that everyone is making sinister references to, and the end may be nigh. Please sooth my troubled soul.

its the silly season / ILX sweeps - someone beloved of this board is gonna get bumped off i reckon...

stevem (blueski), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I love Ned's thread SO much, I'm just not sure what to post to it. I should maybe try this "drafting" thing.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Ooh! An ILX Poster Sacrifice?

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't worry, Nick, I'm totally dumbing down Ned's awesome thread.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

it is all very confusing - and a tad sinister but i think it will all be sweetness and light again soon

james (james), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Is there a thread that explains everything?

Sarah McLUsky (coco), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Aw, man, Sarah. ;-)

NA, do not be afraid. Andrew, please post. I wish to hear all thoughts, and do not be intimidated by anything. Everyone who has posted has said something of worth and interest, I think. :-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

There must be some exceptions, Ned! You should compile a short list and rate people on a scale of 1 to 10 on how good their contributions have been. ha ha j/k

So is this ILX switch just like the last one? I mean, ILX will just move to a different site?

Sarah McLUsky (coco), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:26 (twenty-two years ago)

who's switching what now?

stevem (blueski), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Possibly, though we really do not know how much of the code we own (I know Tom was contacted by a representative of Phillip Greenspun re the interface and copyright. We don't think a design is copyrighted - but obviously if there is a smidgeon of a case involved we would not afford to even put up the most cursory of defences in a court of law).

Pete (Pete), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Big Phil spent all his fortune feeding his 10,000 cats. We're fine.

Tom (Groke), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Pete I am taking you to court for having two e's in your name - I started that okay?

stevem (blueski), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

'M older than you and could kick yo ass.

Pete (Pete), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:38 (twenty-two years ago)

james (james), Friday, 25 July 2003 12:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Silly me, everyone knows it's spelled "cornfused."

gygax! (gygax!), Thursday, 18 November 2004 22:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Homer & Jethro to thread.

I'm serious ... Ti-i-i-i-im (deangulberry), Thursday, 18 November 2004 22:54 (twenty-one years ago)

You guys are tied at four cornfuseds a piece, if you include gygax!'s on ILM. Dastoor has one. I guess I have one now, too.

eleven years pass...
