living in london for a month

ok it looks more and more like im going to have to live in london between roughly aug 15th and sept 15th in order to work and save up some more money for the next leg of my trip. so, londonites, what are the best resources (pref. online) for locating temporary (and reasonably cheap) shared accomodations?

www.loot.com but you have to pay

www.moveflat.co.uk is excellent and cheap, is mainly for permanent flatshares but there are some temporary ones too

www.gumtree.com (i may have this address wrong, play with it to find out) is the resource for newly landed antipodeans, but would be equally useful to you i think

this thread was inspired by a drunken convo with a kiwi girl who was telling me abt gumtree but i couldnt remember the name of the url for the life of me
