GiantMicrobes, the disease-causing organisms that you can cuddle at night. (I admit, they're kinda cute.)

wait, it identifies Kissing Disease as the Epstein Barr Virus which I had always thought was commonly known as the Yuppie Flu?

gygax! (gygax!), Friday, 23 April 2004 00:39 (twenty-two years ago)

What's the white one on the left? It's very cute.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Friday, 23 April 2004 00:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I bought the rhinovirus for Chris (aka "the common cold"; it's the little blue one in the center). Adorable, isn't it?

gareth (gareth), Friday, 23 April 2004 06:27 (twenty-two years ago)

The Streptococcus must be the friendliest microbe of all - huge chains of 'em, all holding hands!

MarkH (MarkH), Friday, 23 April 2004 06:45 (twenty-two years ago)

i like how the kissing disease one has long flirty eyelashes

koogs (koogs), Friday, 23 April 2004 07:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm beginning to wonder if a guy called Dave, a microbiology student who lived on the other side of the corridor from me at uni is behind this. He made little bacteria about of Blu Tac with smiley faces. They were cute, but not nearly as cuddly!

MarkH (MarkH), Friday, 23 April 2004 07:40 (twenty-two years ago)

The Flu is SO CUTE!!!

Ebola looks like an Eraserhead Baby plush toy.

robster (robster), Friday, 23 April 2004 07:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Omigod, I want the Black Death! And the Bedbug, he's cuuuute!

"Giantmicrobes, Inc. is a Delaware corporation founded in January 2002 to manufacture, distribute, and promote the Giantmicrobes™ products"

Wow, I've always wondered what the main industry is in Delaware...
Germs!

Jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 23 April 2004 13:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Aren't all American small businesses founded in Delaware? Something about the incorporation or tax laws?

Super-Kate (kate), Friday, 23 April 2004 13:18 (twenty-two years ago)

It's where all the credit banks are.

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 23 April 2004 13:44 (twenty-two years ago)

You know, Delaware really is as boring as everyone says. Even the farmland isn't pretty, it's just meh and nondescript. The best thing about Delaware is that it's small and only takes a couple of hours to drive through.

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Friday, 23 April 2004 13:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Supposedly Delaware's southern regions have a sole industry, drug running. Apparently there's not much else to do.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 23 April 2004 14:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Apparently they also have "punkin chunkin."

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Friday, 23 April 2004 14:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Err...I think I'll stick with Over the Line.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 23 April 2004 14:15 (twenty-two years ago)
