The hairdresser suggested I dyed my hair 'copper'

which sounded like a good idea to me.

However, my girlfriend has just saliently pointed out that copper is a material and not a colour. The colour of copper is in fact ginger.

Having made this point, she then she went out for 'a walk'.

There is also a colour called Ivory which shares its name with a material. Ginger Im sure is a different shade then copper.

just as long as she doesn't convince you to go for the "Copperhead" which is a flat-top that's black on the back and sides and then "ginger" on top. Like a Duracell battery. That's not a good look.

Copper presumably is the same hair colour as Siobhan Donaghy. Which, if I could find a picture of her, is a pretty good colour.
