People with lame, short mohawks are sprouting up EVERYwhere. I'm seeing 2 or 3 every day on brand new people. A lot of 'em right here in Astoria, for some reason.

The only recent spin I've seen on the mohawk that was any good was my buddy's semi-recent "dreadhawk". He had a really cool dub-punk band going for about 2 months too, until him and the drummer got in a fight over a woman.

I knew this one black feller a few years back that had what he himself called a "frohawk". It was a thing of astounding beauty, actually.

Ok motherfuckers, I am tired of any kind of trend getting bashed to a premature death on the internet. First you did it to electroclash. Then it was vintage clothes. Now you're doing it to faux hawks. Do you wonder why this decade doesn't yet have any kind of recognizable look or style? Because fashions which in the 90s might have had a 4 year life cycle are now reduced to 18 months at best...
