Bear Vs Shark (not the band)

I read a review of a interesting sounding novel a while ago that (I think) was called Bear Vs Shark. It was some sort of daft road trip comedy thing where everyone in America is going crazy about an upcoming fight between a bear and a shark (there was stuff about how it would happen in a tank or something that was deep enough for the shark to swim in but shallow enough for the bear to wade through) and everyone wants tickets to see this event. The novel focuses on a family that are making their way to the arena or wherever it's taking place.

Now, I tried googling up further info on this book but I just keep on getting stuff for a band of some kind called Bear Vs Shark. I tried searching for it on Amazon.co.uk and it just brang up said band's CD. I can't find the magazine I read the review in and now I'm starting to think I dreamt the whole thing. If someone can tell me this book actually exists and I'm not going insane, I would be very grateful.
