Hehe yes peas formed a thriving pea-based ecosystem under ours too. I don't think this would happen so much if Matt stopped his habit of eating frozen peas straight from the bag as a snack.

When I bought my house the previous owners left the fridge, and when I finally got around to moving it for some reason, I found a solid carpet of dog hair underneath. They had two big dogs.

They must have had a sub-terrean dog bunker, then: cool in Summer, and easy way to hit the human food.
