Energy bars: like Power bars or Clif bars. Which ones do you like to eat? (take price into consideration) and what are the various uses?

I know that more protein filled bars are good for weight training.

I like a Powerbar before a jog. Gives me noticeable stamina. I always stock up when they're on sale (around $1/bar). Clif bars are yummier and have soy and other good natural ingredients, and are the same price, but don't seem to give me the same energy and endurance.

presumably you're supposed to wash this stuff down with Lucozade.

...the advertising of which resulted in the unusual spectacle of John Barnes saying "isotonic" on national television.

i actually do like the leatheriness of powerbars, but chewing them hurts my jaw.

i like the peanut butter clif bars. and enjoyed their chocolatey luna bars (clif bars 'for women', whatever that means)

i don't know about costs, since we sell them at the bike shop, so dad always brought them home for me when i asked. i do know that we sell them for less than most stores, so anyone in southwest michigan looking to stock up should stop by!
