Of course, as a consequence of this I am getting 100s of bounced messages bouncing back at ME. I am FUCKING PISSED OFF as well. i've written an email to demon asking for advice/help, but what to do (nb - thee obvious question you maynask - no i do not have sobig f virii in my ms box)

gah anyway. gah and grrrr.

I don't think these arrive at anyone else's mailbox with your address, do they? I haven't been able to get someone to answer this correctly. This is a result of SOME virus, not sure which one, and it isn't on your computer, it's on some mail server somewhere. I receive the same things (mail undeliverable back to my address).

Another argument for setting up my own mail server. It could take days for demon to respond and block the ip address of this creep. Any clues in the headers as to where these are really from.

i was getting virii returned to me with similar message headers as well, but they were all to the nfay@fayc.... address i normally use. these have seemingly seamlessly transitioned to returned spam messages, rather than returned sobig f virii, and the addresses they are returned to are (some examples)

tyreebrightwt@fayc...
ruthrlockemh@fayc...
chestermasseygk@fayc...
jeldridgeov@faycy...

ie some random name on the front of my domain name. loads and loads of them.

ed - no clues whatsoever, i'm afraid.

The best plan is to contact the sysadmin of one of many of the servers that sproinged them and get them to check their logs for where these messages has come from.
