i've just signed up for a 14 day trial with www.dvdsontap.com
i learned about them through word of mouth, and it seems like a really good idea (especially as my local blockbusters is awful and i dont have a car, and i can't afford to actually buy dvds anymore). however, i wasn't insanely impressed with the selection and there were more than a few dvds i looked for that weren't there.
does anyone else use an internet dvd rental service? which ones are good?

You could try The Guardian's DVD rental service. I haven't used it yet, but they look to have really good arthouse and classic sections.

Or http://www.webflix.co.uk/
As many rentals as you like for 9.95.

My brother signed up for Netflix for a month and was pretty happy with it. Very big selection (we were able to get TV shows and hard-to-find foreign language stuff) and pretty quick delivery.
