Defragmenting the Mac

I have an imac running system 9 and protools is telling me it may have a fragmented hard drive. Isn't there a defragmenting program that comes with the mac, or do I have to get norton utilities?

It_is_easy_all_you_have_to_do_is_not_have_any_spaces_or_other_characters_for_the_browser_to_wrap_at_and_you_can_make_your_entries_as_long_as_you_want_This_power_of_course_should_only_be_used_for_good_and_not_evil_and_if_underscore_turns_out_to_be_a_character_that_browsers_will_wrap_at_I_sure_will_feel_foolish_That_said_I_did_a_quick_search_at_VersionTracker_and_they_did_not_seem_to_have_anything_for_OS9_which_seems_weird_but_life_is_funny_like_that_you_know?

cheapest way I can think of doing this, if you CAN borrow an external drive, is back everything up, start up from a bootable CD as system, re-init yr disk and copy it all back again.

but copy it back in a logical order, i.e do the audio files you are working on last so they get put towards the free space
