things to do in London on my birthday (Friday 3rd October)

As a smalltown country boy looking to do something rocking on my burpday, I feel the urge to venture out into the big city and find something to do. Knowing exactly what is a tricky decision however and I have boiled uit down to these criteria:

- It must be fun

- It must keep me and my bumpkin pals entertained till the train back to Letchworth the next morning

- It must keep my friends all happy. Generally they're quite a cynical bunch who will not stand for cheesiness/campiness but enjoy a wide range of music.

- It must be relatively cheap as most of us will be having to spend half our wage packet for the week on train fare up there.

Apart from these, I'd like some suggestions on cool stuff to do that Friday - cheers!

hoxton pimps is ok, but the name is pretty misleading. its basically in a warehouse (though i guess the location moves around?) and plays claude young/dave angel type stuff, chunky techno...
