The Regard of Bill Irwin

NY's Signature Theatre this season is doing a retrospective of the work of Guggenheim and Macarthur recipient Bill Irwin, including a collection of his early clown stuff as The Harlequin Studies (ha), and an updated/modified version of his performance/comedy/ballet piece about the theatre, The Regard of Flight, the PBS broadcast of which exposed me to him in the late 80s. Ben Brantley just did a good piece about him in the Times.
