I had a thread. What a beautiful thread it was,

but what it was'pposed to be 'bout - I remember fuck all. Almost.

Rings a bell, d-d-dimly?

Just before falling asleep the other night, a thread wrapped itself around me. And boy was it good. Come the morn, it had all but unwrapped itself and vanished. Leaving only the barest, erm, thread of memory of there having been the word 'geddit' somewhere in there. In the thread title.
Still haven't got it back.

Has this happened to you?
And have you later managed to remember what you meanwhile forgot?

Usually in the 10 seconds before fully waking up. Never seem to have a pen and paper handy though. Damn my soul.

More thread titles should end in commas. But not too many more.

Chris - that was you forgotten-yet-remembered thread title?
;)

I am forever thinking up interesting threads to post, but by the time I get to the web cafe, all cold and antiseptic, all thought of posting them has disappeared from my head, only to be replaced by cold, grey thoughts of hopelessness and alienation and isolation.

Web cafes are like the busses of the information superhighway. I wish this was a 19, but it's just going somewhere grey and depressing and if I don't get off soon, I'll end up in Elephant and Castle. :-(

I once had a thread,
Or should I say
It once had me?

When I was 17
I had a very good thread.
I had a very good thread on having a fake ID
and Momus and Anthony
asked "What is identity?"
It was a very good thread...

I always think of great threads & then just post a load of rubbish!

I always think of good threads, post them, and then it turns out they are rubbish.

The one I started today about people getting stupider was one I thought of yesterday morning, then forgot, then remembered and posted. So there is hope.

I have another thread that I periodically remember and forget, but I avoid posting it because I'm pretty sure it would get ugly quickly.
