It's the end of the year and everyone's got Xmas/New Year's plans, but let's see what we can do to accommodate the man. After New Year's will probably work best. However, if we can get enough people to commit to something before then, that would be rad too.

I almost went to see ESG in Red Hook last night. But got here too late and it was just too far away. So I went to this dumpy bar/club called the Hole. I'd never been there before, it was fun! It reminded me of the old East Village.

Taboo was corny and sweet. Some of the ballads were so bad, though. And poor Marilyn--the actor who played him interpreted him as this old school Judy/Joan/Bette style drag queen, he was really bad. Plus Marilyn's ridiculed throughout the whole thing as the talent-free one, the megabitch skanky drug troll with the movie idol looks. I was offended! He was more complex than that, plus his singles are great! I'm just a gender bender junkie junkie, I am. Boy George seemed a bit off as Leigh Bowery. And the Philip Salon guy was a little too Tim Curry. The guy who played Boy George was incredible, though!
