tatoo over a scare

Hello, I broke my ankle, and I now have a scare on both sides of my right ankle. I wanted to know if getting a tatoo over it would look bad. I'ts not that big I was thinking a vne with a rose or something like that. What do you know about this?

A good tattoo artist will probably warn you that scar tissue is more difficult to tattoo well -- but I got my tattoo over a scar on my arm, and although it doesn't cover the scar completely (if I angle my arm in the light you can see where scar tissue ends and regular tissue begins), the tattoo went fine. It's plain black, simple characters, nothing fancy near the tissue, which is likely the way to go.

i got mine done because i wanted to draw attention away from a long scar on my hip ( we are talking 2 ft long major railway track here ).
the tattoo i got had to be done just alongside my scar, as yes, the scar tissue would not have handled it.

Scars are ugly and tattoos are so lollapalooza IV. Your best bet is probably to just cut off your leg at the knee.

i broke my right ankle (and my left) and have scars on both sides of it (and a spot where you can see the pin)... no tattoos necessary, it's a conversation piece all by itsself.

I know someone who got a great tattoo over a bullet wound. you just have to work the scar into yr design.
