How much stock do you put into dreams, whether you like it or not?
I ask this because last night I had a dream in which I was asking a friend (whose opinion I value perhaps a little too much) if he wanted some Cheetos. He answered that Cheetos were 'foul', and then I, almost gushingly, agreed, saying they always ruined your breath, stained your fingers and made touching things very difficult without dirtying them. Now in real life, I really like Cheetos; in fact I have a cabinet with about four bags. Today, I couldn't even go near my Cheetos. And in real life the friend in the dream likes Cheetos too.

This dream clearly reflects your anxiety about keeping up appearances in public. You're worried that your dirty little habit will become public and consign you to shame amongst your peers, even though rationally you know they probably guzzle snacks like demons too. What you and he say about the effects of eating Cheetos sounds rather like how effects of smoking......Do you smoke?
