just buy them in hawaii, you can at least pack light for one part of the trip! Seriously, they'll have much better quality/selection there. Clothes may be a bit more expensive but not by much, and hey, you're on vacation! Have fun, I've been twice in February (once in maui and once on the big island) and it was marvelous. Oh, and definitely get a sarong, they're very useful while you're there and you can put them to use as home decor when you get back...mine is now a lovely tablecloth.
