the hair on my chest or the hair on my butt?

for example, the St. Etienne gig on Saturday opened with "Heart Failed In the Back of a Taxi" which features the lines

Sold the ground to a PLC
Moved the club out to Newbury
Sod the fans and their families

and, knowing that the song was from the 2000 album Sound of Water, and the song presumably written in 1999 or earlier, I began to wonder whether the plan to move Wimbledon FC to Milton Keynes was already being discussed then, or whether this was just prescient (albeit substituting Bucks/Berks).

also, Generation X. Coupland's book came out in, what, 1991. The band was late 70s, who actually coined the phrase?

I always thought that the egg came first. What laid the egg? A pterodactyl, of course!
