Damage Control Posting

It can happen for example in music discussion when you take a really hard, risky stance on, say, not liking most modern black music, and then scrambling to drop 'I'm still very multicultural' hints like 'well, I'm off to get some delicious Khal Khalash!' or 'ahh, this Mongolian Idol EP is sublime". Or on ILE, you make really small, frazzled jokes like nothing happened, usually right after an apocalyptic, blood-boiling confrontation. Its cool to watch, but damn, am I glad you guys don't know my buzz code!
