for best results take massive amounts of drugs before either Adaptation or Dragonheart.

Amadeus, Holy Grail & Adaptation are excellent when drunk. Don't see Seven Samurai, the shouting is v grating.

Wintermuté (Wintermute), Sunday, 21 December 2003 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Ed (dali), Monday, 22 December 2003 09:06 (twenty-two years ago)

What did you choose in the end?

Alfie (Alfie), Monday, 22 December 2003 09:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Adaptation; it was very good.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Monday, 22 December 2003 09:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Or at least spell the beer correctly.

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 22 December 2003 10:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Nastro Azzuro should go with Amarcord, surely?

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Monday, 22 December 2003 10:41 (twenty-two years ago)

And surely the plural of Nastro Azzuro is Nastro Azzuri?

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Monday, 22 December 2003 10:41 (twenty-two years ago)

ooh he's got a point. Pedants? what say you?

chris (chris), Monday, 22 December 2003 10:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I've been debating it internally for a few minutes now.

Matt (Matt), Monday, 22 December 2003 10:56 (twenty-two years ago)

You called?

It's still spelt Azzuri not Azurri though.

pedant (ailsa), Monday, 22 December 2003 10:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Call yourself pedants? Nastri Azzurri (with 2 rs) is the plural of "Blue Ribbons", yes, BUT proper nouns, when pluralised, DON'T take plural endings. So instead of "i Nastri Azzurri", the correct form is "i Nastro Azzurro" ("i" being plural of "the").

However, if you're using it in English, where such rules don't apply, the most honest answer is "Nastro Azzurros".

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 22 December 2003 13:23 (twenty-two years ago)

sod that, I'm off for a couple of panninis

chris (chris), Monday, 22 December 2003 13:26 (twenty-two years ago)

LEGO !!!!!!!

Ste (Fuzzy), Monday, 22 December 2003 13:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Nick - why not publish your thoughts on Adaptation? Do an ILE search on 'crapola'.
