it's pretty suck.

it's going on day two. for some reason every block around me is out but mine? no streetlights. pitch black. the cops have badass light sabers to direct traffic. the missus and some friends are at the metreon watching a movie right now so i'm assuming they have some sort of back up generator working.

i think the power grids follow the sewer systems, one store black, two doors up power. luckily no major fires were reported from candle usage. these blackouts have an upside, they remind us to prepare for another big one.
