My stacks of books/newspapers/printouts are all very architecturally sound... but, could this happen to you?

The running joke in high school was that in an earthquake my bookcases would crush me. This is not a worry these days because they're in another room (instead it will be my CD racks).

That's why I never vacuum, in case I'm ever pinned to the floor by my bookcases/CD racks/jumbo-sized velvet matador painting, I'll be able to survive on the foodstuffs until someone comes to look for me.
