i had to work late tonight (till 9:30P). i stopped into the starbucks on the way to the train and heard the dumb motherfucker speak over the radio. spontaneously, i just said "why can't i escape listening to this fucking moron," even though there were other people on the line. hearing it on the radio, it sounded like what one of brezhnev's speeches before the fucking politburo must've sounded like ... mumble mumble ideological rant (APPLAUSE) mumble mumble Social Security (APPLAUSE) mumble mumble utter-bullshit-slathered-in-syrup (THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE).
