I had my best friend over for dinner last night. We had yummy risotto & lots of red wine! woo! It was a lovely evening apart from the fact that she ended up in tears due to her foning her boy to find out why he had done a disappearing act over the last 2 weeks. Boys suck! (not all)

routine but pleasant thursday night here. i made curry fries and they were delicious (the fries were homemade, the curry wasn't). the sarah silverman program is on in the living room.

took a three hour nap, then went out to get some gas. wanted to get a late dinner and some drinks, drove around aimlessly for a while, settled for pizza and now i'm back home drinking a gin & tonic

i finished my workload by 7pm and i'm here until 9. twitter, facebook, and all online games are blocked, so please entertain me like only an ilxor can.

i'm leaving this job next week (end of a six-month contract and i'm ready to move on). but right now i'm at my desk, munching on some pretzels, drinking water, and listening to CDs. i brought: harmonia's live 1974, hauschka's salon des amateurs, and boredoms' super roots (the first one).

made tacos with ground turkey and had four coronas. tried to get my dog to chase me around the yard but she was being lazy.

i had the same thing for supper. (no turkey though)

i don't really ever get sick of mexican food. i am down with tacos for pretty much any meal, most of the time, if someone suggests them.

Couldn't sleep. There was a beer left in the fridge and I went looking for free Tetris clone for OS X. Nothing on app store. The Quinn clone one was disappeared. Duh, there's a free one for the phone, but I'm enough of an oldster to want to play games actually on my computer. I just think of them that way. There's a horrible one in emacs that you can bring up in terminal, but the block graphics are too warped and useless to play when you want to just chill out with a beer and laptop tetris.

Found tetris source code on git. I can deal with that. Hmmm... Gotta deal with all the dependencies in brew since the El Capitan update. Oh yeah, never did install sdl2. So I compile all this shit to get to point in the evening where I've spent an hour debugging a broken makefile. The beer is empty. Still no tetris. I feel like fucking Sherlock Holmes when he doesn't have a case.
