Who here is in a Trade Union? Does it do you any good? I considering, with a few others at work, joining BECTU and pushing for recognition to push for less slavery in the media mines.

I am. Membership is voluntary here. Yes, we got a pay increase backdated last year and a lump sum payment for members recognising the 'relationship between the Dept. and the association and the work members put into maintaining that' or something

Our old record label tried to force us to join the Musicians Union. I was the only one who actually even qualified to join at the time, and I refused. Bloody reds!
