So, who are the lucky million, then? Conversely, who are the cursed million?

can i get a 40 witness?

aleksandr supertramp (Jody Beth Rosen), Monday, 26 January 2004 07:13 (twenty-two years ago)

My mum and her siblings had to fake JW for three years because their mum went nuts and while indisposed in nutter hospital, noseyparkers from various other religions tried to insist a father could not do the four kids thing on his own and put pressure on him to foster them out. The JWs offered home help to other bereaved/single dad Witnesses for $15/week. Indoctrination at no extra charge. Grandpa decided they could fake it until their mother came back with bits of her brain missing, so that's what they did.

Also, I remember bad pastel illustrations in Watchtowers which suggest all the chosen people go to meet their maker in powder blue or lemon yellow polyester jumpsuits.
