I get to choose the radio station, so it's all good!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I have to listen to my colleagues.

Huck Hurts (Horace Mann), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:32 (twenty-two years ago)

if that loathsome counting crows "paved paradise" cover comes on the radio one more time today i'm going to tear the speaker from the wall and bash my brain in with it¡

dyson (dyson), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:34 (twenty-two years ago)

they gave me the option of controlling the radio station, but there's no good stations around. 2 of my coworkers are in their 60's + best option i have, radio wise, tends to play nu-metal occasionally and i don't think that will fly here.
unless possibly i hook up my computer to the radio. hmmmm.

dyson (dyson), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I could listen to headphones if I want, but I honestly think I would not get any work done at all, so I pass.

Jordan (Jordan), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:37 (twenty-two years ago)

I am listening to radio 1 through my computer but rapidly regretting my choice. Headphones are definitely out.

Archel (Archel), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

i actually work better with decent tunes going. keeps me in a good (productive) mood.
see¿ i'm pissed-off right now + all i've done is post to ilx¡

My colleague has local station Power FM blaring out of her laptop which apparently plays 'today's best music!!'. Currently playing: Nickelback.

robster (robster), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:51 (twenty-two years ago)

One of my coworkers occasionally turns on the radio, which apparently is tuned to the 'All Norah Jones, All the Time' station.

Music is way, way too interesting. There's no way I could work with it.

Jordan (Jordan), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:53 (twenty-two years ago)

we should all quit our jobs and sit at home and read archie comics and eat cookies and put our feet up so the goddamned swelling will goddamned go down.

Huck Hurts (Horace Mann), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Headphones at work? Do you all work in socially cloistered IT departments or something?

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 26 January 2004 16:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes.

Archel (Archel), Monday, 26 January 2004 17:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Thank god I can listen to music on headphones at work. I don't think I could hack it otherwise. Yes, I work in a socially becubicled environment.

o. nate (onate), Monday, 26 January 2004 17:01 (twenty-two years ago)

close enough - i'm a designer.

dyson (dyson), Monday, 26 January 2004 17:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I get to listen to my iPod. And I have four speakers on which to do it!!!!!

dean! (deangulberry), Monday, 26 January 2004 17:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Huggy Dork (Kingfish), Monday, 26 January 2004 17:35 (twenty-two years ago)
