Finding ilXor's elsewhere on the web

First, it was happening upon a Ned Raggett review of the Drop Nineteens' Delaware. Now it's finding Matos' blog. Who else have you found, and who was the first poster that you saw somewhere else?

It's like seeing the cute girl from the deli shopping with her mother at JC Penny.

*ponders the simile*

I can't even remember, ilxors are everywhere. I do remember having to look up some marketing articles at work and coming across some quotes from Tico Tico but that doesn't really count as the interweb.

I find it more bizarre when I find ILXors in the real world!

The blogs and reviews aren't that hard to find, though, since we fall over ourselves to mention them!

I always find it weird when someone I've heard of or whatever in non-ILX context pops up here. Like Marisa Tomei on the http://ilx.wh3rd.net/random.php?board=1 thread

Huck Everlasting (Horace Mann), Tuesday, 27 January 2004 20:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Dude, that's the random thread generator. Which thread was it?

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 27 January 2004 23:58 (twenty-two years ago)

it's more bizarre when people I know outside of ILx find their way here

M Matos (M Matos), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 00:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I think Huck was saying that Marisa Tomei is on every thread in spirit.

ie. he beats off to pictures of marisa tomei when he posts on ilx

Have you not checked that feature on the settings page? It was Graham's last gift to ILE.

i read a really good anti-paul weller article a long time ago on some now-defunct (i think) internet magazine and when i stumbled on it again recently i was surprised to see it was by mark s!

J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 00:51 (twenty-two years ago)

If Marisa Tomei is into guys like George Costanza, I can't imagine she'd be above posting on ILX.

If only everything on Seinfeld were true. Actually, no - not that at all.

That random link took me to the Finnish Cliche' thread, led by Tuomas. Tomei? Tuomas? There's gotta be a Finnish cliche' for this.

my work here is done.

Huck Everlasting (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 15:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I found Mark P's Bjork book in a Chapters store a few weeks ago and ran around showing it to the people I was with. I was so proud!

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 15:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't know that was Mark P!!!

Huck Everlasting (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 15:21 (twenty-two years ago)

He even gives props to ILX in it!

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 28 January 2004 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

I guess we don't have to shout...
