Wow, everyone's on the wagon!

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 29 January 2004 05:22 (twenty-two years ago)

On my first vodka/7-up.

Orbit's threads are like the Special Olympics of New Questions.

Le Coq, Thursday, 29 January 2004 05:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Why thanks Jody. Or Spencer. Or Chris.

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 29 January 2004 05:25 (twenty-two years ago)

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 29 January 2004 06:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Water. I seriously doubt drinking booze at work would be a wise idea. I plan on switching to wine as soon as I get home and clean up though.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 29 January 2004 06:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Water. I came home and felt dehydrated. While waiting for the Brita to fill, I had a gulp of OJ.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 29 January 2004 06:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Cherry Juice. don't ask.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Interesting you ask. I'm sippin' on something called Monteith's Pilsner, which I have never seen in NY. I'm in LA right now, and, at Trader Joes last night, a southern gentleman saw me browsing round the beer and suggested it. Always take beer recommendations delivered in a southern accent. Anyway, it's pretty good. Usually I'm more a Jim Beam kinda guy but I'm trying to cut down on the sauce so the hard stuff can only be enjoyed when I really, really need it.

roger adultery (roger adultery), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:39 (twenty-two years ago)

also Orbit, Le Coq is a unique and often humorous poster (i.e. not me, k?).

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Just naming likely suspects from recent experience. I'm sure you are a fabulous human being, and are drinking cherry juice for a very good reason.

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I am rarely suspect.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:43 (twenty-two years ago)

After 3 margaritas I'm drinking my 2nd Redhook Blonde ale. Just another tricky day for me.
I wonder how many times roger's post are followed up with Who references?

Speedy Gonzalas (Speedy Gonzalas), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:44 (twenty-two years ago)

You are, however, drinking cherry juice.

xpost

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:44 (twenty-two years ago)

also, the cherry juice a home remedy for something, but it's kinda awful.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:44 (twenty-two years ago)

kidney stones? 'roids? UTI? oops, I asked. Nevermind.
I hope you feel better ;-)

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:46 (twenty-two years ago)

none of those, but it tastes like regurgitated Kool-Aid.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:46 (twenty-two years ago)

put some gin in it!

Orbit (Orbit), Thursday, 29 January 2004 07:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris V (Chris V), Thursday, 29 January 2004 13:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Nothing. I had a coffee made by my mum earlier (i.e. so strong it needs more than 100% dilution) and other than that, water. I might treat myself to a shop bought mocha this afternoon if I work hard.

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 29 January 2004 13:59 (twenty-two years ago)

coffee...i feel we've woken up, or the world has turned, or the alcohol drinkers are asleep...

paulhw (paulhw), Thursday, 29 January 2004 14:10 (twenty-two years ago)

At the time this thread was started I was drinking beer. By the time Roger Adultery posted I had switched to champagne. Now I'm drinking green tea from one cup and very cold water from another.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 29 January 2004 14:22 (twenty-two years ago)

DIET COKE WHY.

Also I feel that "the world has turned" and "the alcohol drinkers are asleep" clauses in that sentence are connected somehow - IF ONLY I COULD REASON OUT WHY.

I like ending every sentence in WHY.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 29 January 2004 14:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Right now I'm drinking coffee - half caf half decaf - that Nick made this morning and put in a thermos for me. Actually, thermos makes it sound like it has Miss Piggy or the Carebears on it, but it is just this resuable container with a lid that I got at a gas station in Crossroads, VA. It was halfway between my apartment and my mom's apartment when she lived in Roseland, so I'd always stop there. Fascinating story, huh?

We're really forming a nice alcohol collection at home. I could go for a gin and tonic right now. Or maybe a Pina Colada. Oh, shit. It's only 8:30am... And I'm at work...

Sarah McLusky (coco), Thursday, 29 January 2004 14:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok how can you have half caf half decaf coffee? You Americans. I actually DO want a thermos, thank you fore reminding me. See, your story was fascinating! In my memory stimulation lobes at the very least.

I am disinclined towards booze at the moment but god knows why.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 29 January 2004 14:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Water. Actually, its just run out . . .

Johnney B (Johnney B), Thursday, 29 January 2004 14:39 (twenty-two years ago)

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Thursday, 29 January 2004 20:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Tea made from a Lipton's tea bag in a paper cup that I drank coffee out of earlier this morning, so the tea now has a slight coffee flavor.

o. nate (onate), Thursday, 29 January 2004 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I just a glass of whiskey and a Heineken. Drunk at the office cocktail party. Fun times.

Iced tea!

Ok, so it doesn't taste that exciting. I just thought I'd use an exclamation point there.

Mellow Dee (Dee the Lurker), Friday, 30 January 2004 03:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Chilled green tea

Roman (Roman), Friday, 30 January 2004 04:02 (twenty-two years ago)

a good strong glass of iced tea is beautiful, and totally deserves an exclamation point.

lauren (laurenp), Friday, 30 January 2004 04:02 (twenty-two years ago)

PBR. I've had enough to start threads about it.
