not

Dale the Titled (cprek), Friday, 30 January 2004 16:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Sweet.

El Spinktor (El Spinktor), Friday, 30 January 2004 16:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Sweet.

Allyzay, Friday, 30 January 2004 17:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Sweet.

TOMBOT, Friday, 30 January 2004 17:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Also Hi Honey the email is broken again today and we're done with class but I don't know if they're going to let us take off early or not yet because Reggie isn't in at the moment. Also my phone battery is almost dead and I think I need to get more catfood but I'll let you know as soon as I'm on the way, okay? I'm taking the train because it's supposed to snow more over the weekend.

TOMBOT, Friday, 30 January 2004 17:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Someone want to give me a recipe for both. I'll try a blind test on tracer.

Ed (dali), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:16 (twenty-two years ago)

MEXICAN!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:21 (twenty-two years ago)

you people are crazy. If you want it sweet, just put honey on it, or maple syrup (my folks live in NH, okay?) -- but don't put sugar in it!!

Hurlothrumbo (hurlothrumbo), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Spoon bread owns both Yankee corn bread and proper corn bread. However one can tell from the name of the non-Yankee kind where my sympathies generally lie.

J0hn Darn1elle (J0hn Darn1elle), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:31 (twenty-two years ago)

hurlo otm! that's why god gave us condiments, although i do love a brutally spicy blue cornbread that i make which is very far from the traditional recipe and includes a tiny bit of sugar.

lauren (laurenp), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:40 (twenty-two years ago)

(emphatically) not!

sgs (sgs), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:41 (twenty-two years ago)

I like to bake not-sweetened cornbread with brown sugar & cumin sprinkled over the top. And serve it with infinity bean soup ha ha.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:42 (twenty-two years ago)

jalapeno

teeny (teeny), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:46 (twenty-two years ago)

they don't have infinity beans here.

teeny (teeny), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:47 (twenty-two years ago)

sausage cornbread people

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:49 (twenty-two years ago)

corn? bread? cornbread? huh?

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 30 January 2004 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

this is why we fought a revolution.

teeny (teeny), Friday, 30 January 2004 18:00 (twenty-two years ago)

daft twats

cinniblount (James Blount), Friday, 30 January 2004 18:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you'll find it's fought a revolutionary war or instigated a revolution. We are so much better without you grammar mangling yanks.

Ed (dali), Friday, 30 January 2004 18:03 (twenty-two years ago)

yall do make nice lapdogs though

cinniblount (James Blount), Friday, 30 January 2004 18:05 (twenty-two years ago)

esp. when you defend the queen's english - hold on to everything you got while you can! close your eyes and you can pretend it's still the nineteenth century and england still matters!

cinniblount (James Blount), Friday, 30 January 2004 18:07 (twenty-two years ago)

*smiles*
James, I'm going to miss your kind tonight something fierce.

Anyway, UNSWEET CORNBREAD IS THE ONLY WAY, you damn fools. ;)
(It's the southwest's influence on me. Though I don't particularly care for jalapeƱo cornbread. I like my cornbread very corn-y and buttery.)

Mellow Dee (Dee the Lurker), Friday, 30 January 2004 19:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Sweet, although this goes against everything my parents taught me about life and cornbread.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Friday, 30 January 2004 20:20 (twenty-two years ago)

unsweet! ignore the snellvillian!

cinniblount (James Blount), Friday, 30 January 2004 20:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Unsweet, preferably with some kick. (Jalapenos are great!) Corn PUDDING, however, should (duh) be sweet and is delicious!

Clarke B., Friday, 30 January 2004 22:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Am I the only person who absolutely hates jalapeno cornbread?

Allyzay, Friday, 30 January 2004 23:31 (twenty-two years ago)

You are not alone.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:33 (twenty-two years ago)

It is the Jesus Jones of bread.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Allyzay is not the only person who absolutely hates jalapeno cornbread.

also, sweet. though I'm such a cornbread fan it almost doesn't matter. and cheese corn muffins = wonderful, too.

M Matos (M Matos), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey, I liked Jesus Jones before they sold out.

teeny (teeny), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:39 (twenty-two years ago)

This is one of those American food threads that makes Nick vomit, right?

Llahtuos Kcin (Nick Southall), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Sweet is the Soup Dragons of bread. Savory is delicious like...The Clash

paulhw (paulhw), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Both!

luna (luna.c), Friday, 30 January 2004 23:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Saturday, 31 January 2004 00:05 (twenty-two years ago)

You're like a goat, aren't you?

Allyzay, Saturday, 31 January 2004 00:09 (twenty-two years ago)
