My mate wants to know, and a google search turns up nothing. We're not even sure if they're made from real potatoes or from processed spuds.

don't they make a spiral cutter?

The difference is that they do not artificially straighten the pigs' tails. The process is similar to what's done to create "naturally straight hair".

i'd imagine the majority of curly fries are processed spuds, squeezed through a thing like what nath links too and then covered in seasoning stuff...

You hear "curly fries" and your brain going into spiral, they are actually straight, I think.

hyde park records (colonel), Wednesday, 3 May 2006 02:43 (twenty years ago)

Hollow corkscrews.

No curly fry is made in a sweat shop. That would kill the flavor

Q: What is better than a curly fry maker?
A: Long egg machine!

Mädchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 3 May 2006 08:41 (twenty years ago)

This seems to suggest that no long egg existed before 1974. Can that possibly be true?

One more reason why living in the modern world is THE BEST.
