I agree, webcrack. Spiked heels or somesuch just seem like an obvious "look at me" sort of gesture, and as such aren't really that hot. What appeals to me about Mary Janes is that they show just that smallest little window of skin or silk below the buckle. Just that little glimpse is so sensual.

i have two pairs of mary janes that i got in london last year. one black pair that i wear fairly often, which are kind of the opposite of trayce's - thin sole, slightly pointed toe, very thin strap. the other pair are pucci. they've never been worn, as i'm afraid to take them out of the box.
