Do you have special clothes for wearing at home?

I usually change into a grey shirt that is very faded and says something about hockey on it and a pair of khaki jungle-type trousers the likes of which I would never wear outside the house. I have been known to wear flip-flops.

A S@nt@'s Soldiers T-shirt too ripped to be worn in public; a blue flannel shirt that's missing several buttons; and lately, a Cleveland Indians jersey.

usually i just parade around in my boxer shorts and a t-shirt. i dont go in for all this "fancy dress"

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I just got home and first thing I did was put on some drawstring pants that are sorta pajamaish, and my housecoat. I have two housecoats, a summer and a winter. I'm wearing my summer, even though today was pretty cold. I'm a fucking optimist, okay?

Huck, Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I have a pair of champion pajama bottoms that are very comfortable, and occasionally where these fluffy down plaid slipper Rich from the Social Registry bought me...

I know I started this thread, but...it's Saturday night! Shouldn't we be tearing da club up instead of discussing our favorite soft t-shtrt with the hole in the armpit?

I ate a burrito so big that I can't move, that's my excuse.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I remove my shoes. But that's about the only major overhaul.

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Is anyone on their way to the fridge?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:11 (twenty-two years ago)

That's my next stop. Anyone need a beer?

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:11 (twenty-two years ago)

please

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:12 (twenty-two years ago)

Me too, while you're up.

j.lu (j.lu), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:12 (twenty-two years ago)

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:14 (twenty-two years ago)

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Okay, heineken please.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Ooh, pepperoni on the bottom shelf, too.

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I might go out in a bit. But I was out all day, and the only thing I would do is go see a band I don't really like and get bored talking to pretentious people who do like the band. And since they're also friends with the band, and oh how I hate to offend, I'd just nod along and then later on one ofthem will tell the band, "Hey, I was talking to Huck, and he thinks you guys are great." And then they'll ask me for a favour, because I'm the most powerful man in town. I'm like the dwarf in High Plains Drifter. SPOILER ALERT!!!At the end of HPD.

Huck, Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Will someone in this bitch bring me a calzone? I just changed into my "special" black nightshirt and I'm not going anywhere.

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:23 (twenty-two years ago)

And I'm also listening to the new Andre Ethier album (he's from the Deadly Snakes) and it's perfect sitting at home alone drinking 18 yr-old scotch in yr bathrobe music.

Huck, Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

i've already been out tonight as evidenced here:

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

LATE NIGHT BEER CHAT

I wear old british knights, baggy jeans, and football shirts when I intend not to go out. there's something amazingly comforting about having specific clothes which you know mean you won't be leaving that fucking chair.

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:25 (twenty-two years ago)

TV Land is showing two hours of Krofft pilots. That's not specifically the reason I'm not going out, but it'd be a good one if it was.

Tep (ktepi), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I understand, but it's usually my urinary tract that gives me the signal when to get up.

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:29 (twenty-two years ago)

xpost

jim wentworth (wench), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I have to go to bed at 8 for work during the week and the clubs here don't get rolling until 11 (and then they close at 1, wtf), so I just never go out any more. I'm wearing an undershirt and purple paul frank monkey pajama pants.

teeny (teeny), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:34 (twenty-two years ago)

teeny (teeny), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Tep (ktepi), Sunday, 11 April 2004 02:41 (twenty-two years ago)

I TOTALLY KILLED IT LAST NIGHT playing records at centro-fly untill just after 4am. Woke up totally exhausted and nauseus, didn't get out of bed till 5pm, only left the house to go buy some bread. I think I'm gonna take it easy tonight.

The Cork Soakers skit was great, in the Colonel Angus style...

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Sunday, 11 April 2004 04:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I have some t-shirts and stuff that I would only ever wear at home, but no specific 'home' clothes.

Andrew (enneff), Sunday, 11 April 2004 04:35 (twenty-two years ago)

I rock the Paul Frank when I'm home watching Loser TV (shows that say "get the hell out of the house") so I don't feel quite as shitty staying in

Johnney B (Johnney B), Sunday, 11 April 2004 06:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you have special clothes for wearing at home?

Just nightwear -- nightgowns and pajamas and the like. I don't really have anything I set aside specifically just for wearing at home; anytime I want to do any "dirty work" around the house, I'll wear something I'd consider worthy of the laundry basket. But no, no special "wear this at home and only at home" clothes, really, aside from the aforementioned nightwear.

Many Coloured Halo (Dee the Lurker), Sunday, 11 April 2004 07:07 (twenty-two years ago)

(Yes, I did ignore the last couple of pictures posted to the thread. Why'd you ask?)

Many Coloured Halo (Dee the Lurker), Sunday, 11 April 2004 07:07 (twenty-two years ago)

as long as no one else is home i wear a suit, i like sitting around and imagining im a gangsta. if someone else is with me its holiday-t-shirt and boxers, no one must no my secret.

pinkie, Sunday, 11 April 2004 07:37 (twenty-two years ago)

i have two pairs of very well made ultra baggy jeans which i bought from charity shops in peckham in 1995. i wear them with my cros colors shirts.

mullygrubber (gaz), Sunday, 11 April 2004 08:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't have the space to store stuff I can only wear at home, with the exception of my Universita' di Bologna t-shirt which Sarah often gets to before I can slip it on. I use it for sleeping in in winter and loafing in in summer - I assume the baggier the t-shirt, the fewer places sweat can build up.

Markelby (Mark C), Sunday, 11 April 2004 19:26 (twenty-two years ago)

As soon as I get home, I change into a worn-out pair of flannel Paul Frank pajama pants. The drawstring broke long ago, so I have to use safety pins to hold the waistband up. I usually wear the pajama pants with one of two shirts...either a purple t-shirt with "Ouray, Colorado" across the chest or a grey and yellow tank top with "Mankato State" on it. (If my roommate isn't home, one or both of these may be omitted.)

kirsten (kirsten), Sunday, 11 April 2004 19:35 (twenty-two years ago)

boxers,fugly brown slippers& black hoodie in the winter
