How do you join a social club?

There's a social club in the basement of my blaock of flats. I'd like to join cos all the pubs near me are rubbish and I just like the idea of having a cheap pub at the bottom of my stairs. Does anyone know how to join one?

Social Aid & Pleasure Club. Those are the only social clubs I know about...not really sure how to join though.

I was part of an organization that had a social club. I never went. And then, as soon as my membership expired I drank there as a guest three nights in a row.
