Confucius say: best potted plant is planted pot.

Ahh, potted meat comes in a can in the states, rather than being hand crafted by the butcher.

Ed (dali), Sunday, 18 April 2004 06:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Speaking of potted meats, and commandeering ILX for NYC yet again, anyone gone to that newish place on Smith Street called Sample? Evidently the gimmick is that the food all comes out of cans. Tinned foodstuffs of the world.

spam plants

Eisbär (llamasfur), Sunday, 18 April 2004 07:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I saw some HUGE potted plants the other day. They were being used to cover up the ugly view of the construction behind them.

THERE.

Well, I like plants, and I live in a 3rd floor apartment. I'm pretty clean and don't like large mounds of dirt sitting on my floor and tables with plants sticking out of them, though I guess it could be interesting in the right living space. Ergo, I keep my plants in pots.

Potted plants are wonderful! So are naturalized plants obviously, but please not to harsh on potted plants! They are just doin' their thing, gettin' by the best they know how: by growin' in a pot! All their lives they've waited around for some love and now it's time we show it to 'em. Potted plants! Give it up for potted plants. Potted plants!
