he's taking it well so far but i'd be worried. maybe it was the same guy who swiped Ricky T's phone? the evil baby strikes again.

stevem (blueski), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Probably one of Ron Davies' old mates

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:22 (twenty-two years ago)

The 4.30 am walk in the park was indeed odd.

He was on the radio this morning desperately apologetic for pretending he'd actually been assaulted rather than conned.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:23 (twenty-two years ago)

'mugging'

Not terribly far from a certainw elshman's moment of madness.

Ed (dali), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

thankyou Dadaismus, I was trying to remember Ron Davies' name earlier on

chris (chris), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

is he gay? maybe he went out for a park shag and some leather-wearing blue oyster club guy handled him a little to roughly. i mean, who walks his dog at 4 in the morning? come on!

Jay Kid (Jay K), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:30 (twenty-two years ago)

... well that was us snide bastards have been implying on this thread

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:32 (twenty-two years ago)

When Spacey's gotta go, he's gotta go.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:34 (twenty-two years ago)

He is gay & getting attacked conned at 4 in the morning in the middle of a park, well it doesn't take a genius really.

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Spacey said he then tripped over his dog and hit his head on the pavement.

"I ended up falling on to the street and hitting myself in the head," said the 44-year-old actor.

Pull the other one Kev, it's got bells on it.

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Did his trousers fall down when he tripped over his dog?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Which park is it anyway? Aren't most of them locked up at that time of the morning? Jumping over fences to walk one's dog seems a little far-fetched.

Poor old Kevin, anyway.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:40 (twenty-two years ago)

the one right by the Imperial War museum according to bbc london this morning

chris (chris), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:41 (twenty-two years ago)

What, you lock up parks in London? Why?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Spacey should have walked into the police station with blood on his fingers and shouted: "DETECTIVE?". Dunno how many of the fellas at the station would get the Se7en reference. I also doubt if they would find it very funny.

Rob Bolton (Rob Bolton), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:41 (twenty-two years ago)

What, you lock up parks in London? Why?

In case they get stolen

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 12:42 (twenty-two years ago)

i saw kevin spacey at a superpitcher show at the wmf cafe in berlin last summer. he was there with a small troupe of gangly german boys. generally he looked fairly preoccupied. he also left at 4am - POSSIBLY TO WALK HIS DOG?

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:08 (twenty-two years ago)

He was intending no doubt to give the dog a bone at some point

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:10 (twenty-two years ago)

who takes their dog with them when cottaging? honestly

stevem (blueski), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Love me, love my dog.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:11 (twenty-two years ago)

An alibi, stevem, dear boy

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Our old family dog turned gay, or at least bi, in later life.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:12 (twenty-two years ago)

alibi?

stevem (blueski), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

arf

stevem (blueski), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

How can it be used as an alibi? It places him firmly in the park.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

...as in "Just taking the dog out for a walk, won't be long"

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Touch my bum/This is life

Kevin Spacey (Dan Perry), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:14 (twenty-two years ago)

nicolas dastoor was the owner of the pet gay dog.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:15 (twenty-two years ago)

The dictionary now says 'alibi' is used (informally) just to mean 'excuse'. I guess that is what Dadaismus means.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:16 (twenty-two years ago)

...as in "Why officer, I was just out walking my dog when I tripped over him and hit my head on the pavement"

Dadaismus (Dada), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:16 (twenty-two years ago)

"Next thing I knew, there was a penis in my mouth. Boy, was I surprised!"

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 19 April 2004 13:17 (twenty-two years ago)

it was like stage school all over again
