John Peel voiceovers on adverts - Help!

Anyone know which current TV advertising campaigns John Peel does the voiceover for. I vaguely have an idea he's doing a bank's or some kind of financial service's.

It's a work-related query.

I've forgotten which one the daytime one is, but he does the voiceover on the overnight public service ad about mail fraud. If that's any help.

Maybe - thank you. Would rather real adverts though. What kind of mail fraud? Like the 'you've won a competition - send us a tenner and we'll give you your prize' sort?

Equitable Life.

It would be, if they gave you the prize.

Hmm...

OK - new question now, more moronic.

People in their 50s (famous, I guess) who look young for their age, and have attributed this to following a strict diet. No surgery!

My mum. But you probably want a celebrity, don't you?

Super-Kate (kate), Monday, 19 April 2004 16:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Me? Though I don't look *that* young for 54. But I am sometimes taken for as low as early 40s.

You're no use.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 16:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Is that the nastiest thing you've ever said to me?

the beefox, Monday, 19 April 2004 16:09 (twenty-two years ago)

No. Sophia Loren attributes her youthfulness to eating olives.

N. (nickdastoor), Monday, 19 April 2004 16:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I wonder can one be youthful if one is not... young.

I am appealing to the pedant in you.

the pinefox, Monday, 19 April 2004 16:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Youth is not a synonym of youthfulness. Age is just a number, baby.

He's doing 'Talk talk' from the Carphone Warehouse ads on radio.

Hayley Mills? on her diet of pi$$juice?

I'm sure he does the voice-over for one of the car insurance adverts. AA Car Insurance, maybe??

TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIO!

Of course that was in the old days, when he was a spokesman for rock'n'roll. Now they use him to get to the Home Alone crowd.

I think you hear him a lot of you watch Sky News, but I'm not checking.

I see that this thread died, once it lost my input.
