DC Restaurant Recommends

Anyone in DC got any good restaurant recommendations in DC (in the Georgetown area preferably)? Someone relatively inexpensive ($20-30 a person) and any type of food is okay (as long as it's good, prefer something healthy--no double fried food.) Thanks.

Someone = something, ahem.

Most of the better restaurants aren't in Georgetown. What may be the best one - Michel Richard's Citronelle - is, but it may well be outside your budget though ($20-30 is relatively inexpensive?). Another option would be 1789, which again may exceed the budget. Bistrot Lepic would fit the budget. It's up on Wisconsin, still in Georgetown but getting closer to Glover Park. Melrose, near Georgetown on 24th, might exceed. Some recommendations outside of Georgetown - Zaytinya, Equinox, Johnny's Half Shell, Perry's.

two more - Heritage India in Upper Georgetown/Glover Park, and Kaz Sushi Bistro, outside Georgetown

nine years pass...

Recommend a moderate-priced/lower-expensive place with a romantic but casual atmosphere in a neighborhood that would be enjoyable to walk around on a saturday night. But would take a place with killer food that's a few notches down on the atmosphere as opposed to vice versa.

DON'T TAKE A 'BURB REC! (sorry, Lee!)

U Street/Cardoza metro station, go to corner of 12th and U and have Ethiopian at Dukem! Then go see I DIED DJ at U Street Music hall on U between 11th and 12th! If you don't mind dropping mad cash on an awesome cocktail in a super-cozy and awesome space designed by I DIED (man of many talents, that one), make a reservation for a table at Gibson.

Please eat SO SO SO much kitfo for me.
